Dear members,
Yesterday, Iris, Chad, Julian and I went to 清華 university attending Div E Officer Training.
Tell the truth, I had participated officer trainings many many times in the past years. So, for me, it's more likely a must-to-do thing, not what I really want to do. However, during the whole training, I still learn something new. For example, the leadership program is changed. Now, even you are not an officer, you can participate in the "Competent Leadership Program". Secondly, and the most exciting thing is that, we witnessed Sammy Su's great speech & performance. She is the Champion of 2008 Prpepared Speech Contest, and will present District 67 (Taiwan) and go for compete in an International level. Isn't it great? I think Julian, Iris and Chad would feel it was worth our while going there.
The only pity is that we got only four members over there. I hope next time, more officers & members will go with us.
And in the last minute of the training, Julian stood on the stage to promote the coming BIG event -Div E outing. I hope members can mark your date on Aug 16th and go to have fun with us.
