What a happy meeting we had last Friday night !
First of all, acting president Gary kicked off the meeting due to our president Eddie had 要務在身.
James Lee, our heavy weight figure in Div E, has played a wonderful role by taking the assignement for being
TME (Toastmaster of the evening ).
We glad so many guests including Billy, Charlene, Ariel, Julia and Diego
spending their valuable time with us. James gave us the history of Toastmasters, that's the best way to
let people more involved. A successful meeting is always with two very importent helper, this time, our
Supervise team were Jason and New hand father Griffy(Thanks for bringing the 彌月蛋糕.餵飽我們的肚子也溫暖我們的心).
Our Chungli 新生代女神 Kate prepared very exciting activity to let us using our Body Language & Oral
English to warm the meeting up. Big sucess !
As members of Chungli Toastmastsers, we are happy to announce we got new babies Terry Lin(Mentor: Gary)
& Scott Wen(Mentor: Alan). There is one more new member coming, 敬請期待 !!!
Speakking of Prepared speech session, we got C1 from Terry, it's a good demostration becuae we got
lots guests that night. One of the main perpose for our guest is to improve their English oral ability. Terry
showed his confidence to all, even though forgot few lines but it's all fine. It was a good start.
Our VIP speaker Frank who came from Legend club. Had an amazing performance ! His delivery skills could be
over C5 level. We are so lucky just sat there and gain something back home. "Who stole your 5 million dollars" by Emily's C7 speech. She showed her profitioncy on her speech. And our benifit is to ask her if we
have any questions relate to Insurance!
After a while intermission. We got Bernie from YZU to be our
Fire Fighter to hold the Table Topics Master. Normal questions plus 犀利 questions. We all enjoyed ! Thanks
Bernie. Judy Wu from sisiter club Taoyuan. Had well prepared for being General evuluator. Here we would like to congratulations on her outstanding performance on Div. E contest !
We ending our meeting almost on time with Gary's powerful and inspired shareing.
Being Toastmaster, for me, for us, is the best investment in our life. Doyou agree with me ?
