Meeting Minutes-2014/7/11

In attendance: 14 (11 members + 3 guests)

The theme of the meeting: Officer Report

Announcement: 7/19 Officer Training in YZU

     The meeting started at 7:15. It’s handsome Jason’s first time to be a SAA leading us to read the pledge. James was the TME of this meeting. As usual, his performance was outstanding. No wonder, he won the best session master!

The followings were the key statements that officers made:

1. Jason (SAA): arrange things for the meeting and listen to members’ needs.

2. Giffy (Treasurer): show the list of member fee and explain it.

3. James (Secretary): collect the documents.

4. Scott Chen (PRVP): make Chungli TM shine.

5. Nai-Ling (MVP): recruit 8 new members.

6. Griffy (EVP): encourage members to use easy-speak more effectively.

7. Kate (President): the dos and don’ts of being a president.

    After the officer report came the exciting table topics session. Kylie was the session master showing an interesting way to conduct it. There were two people at a time. One had a question to ask. The other had to answer the question. It’s like counseling. At the end of the meeting, beautiful Emily acting as GE gave us general evaluation. For example, it would be better to deliver officer report if all officers were here. Last but not least, we got guest comments from Julian, Jadie and Kylie. And we were surprised at hearing fluent Japanese from Jadie. It was a small but warm meeting this time.
