After finishing this session, Our God father rushed out for his flight .Originally, I didn't know Louis has flight at that night , But he still promised me to attend the Installation. BEING MEMBER OF CHUNGLI TOASTMASTERS
I heard about toastmasters from a friend of mine, she told me it’s a good place to practice my English. I still remembered how shocked I was when I first time experienced the meeting of toastmasters, I never know we can learn English in such a warm and fun environment. At that time I had no confidence and I barely finish my introduction out of my nervousness. Today , I’m here to be the president of Chungli toastmasters. There’s two friends I should thank them, Chad ( where are you, Chad? ), pls look at his innocent face. This innocent face lead me to be a member of TMC. And his lovely best friend , Amy , It’s all because of their constant encouragement to push me forward, I never think that I will be the president of toastmaster Some day. Today I become one and I should express my big thank to Chad and Amy . Thank you~
To be the president
With two and half toastmaster experiences in Chungli TMC, I pick up my progress slowly and constantly. Last year , president Amy offered me this chance to be the EVP and it's was an wonderful experiences of improving both of my leadership and communication skills. Besides, within a whole year I've been played different roles as GE, TME and even the acting president. Furthermore to attend the exciting Division E prepared speech contest. Now I realize that it was a perfect set-up, once you become the EVP then you will be the president in next term. Look at me now, I think I've done something different. Delivering my inaugural speech in front of you, I've conquered my fear of public speaking, This because senior experienced members ,Albert, Lily and Louis Jamie.....With your helping me to have a new born Hua-hsuan, Thank you ! You will have my promise a new & successful president of Chungli TMC.
My dream of chungli TMC
The famous quote from Dr. Martin Luther King “ I have a dream . Yes , I have a dream for the Chung-Li toastmasters’ , and I know this dream can be easily realized by my three toastmasters’ magic tricks.
Magic number one: By Sharing,
Member Senior and junior share their stories and experience on the stage, From delivering their speeches, they have a lot of opportunities to teach and learn each other , Members senior or junior always have one good speech to tell in your mind. In no time, Chung Li Toastmasters’ will become crazy machine that produce good speeches.
Magic number two: By creating
I will prospect all my members to put different 、funny ideas into our meetings. This creativity can train our members’ impromptu delivering their thought . It will strengthen and lead the regular meeting successfully and qualified .
Magic number three: By encouraging
I will encourage my members to take all kinds of challenge . To step out of their comfort zone. To explore their other possibilities. Like the possibility I am standing here as the chungli toastmasters’ president. Let’s experience toastmasters’.
In the end, I want to express my deeply gratitude to all my good helping hands- my officer team, and all the supports from my club members. Let’s create another year of FRIENDLY , FREELY、HAPPILY、CREATIVELY、the CHUNGLY Toastmasters’
