You are invited to join the meeting of Chungli Toastmasters Club on 2016-03-25. The meeting agenda is attached in this mail.
Our meeting theme this time will be Photos. All assignment takers please prepare a photo, send it to Oscar beforehand, and prepare a 30-second introduction regarding the photo.
We will have 4 prepared speeches tomorrow. You will know our new member Amy Lee much better by listening to her C1 speech tomorrow. Let’s give her our greatest support. Our big brother, Ron Hwang, will give his C5 speech titled “Making a decision”. Ron prepares each speech like attending a speech contest. That’s why he can improve dramatically fast in a short time. Linlin Cheng, who coordinates this meeting and puts the agenda in place, will give her C8 speech with this mysterious title: What a wonderful world part II. If you are as curious as I am, make sure you come to meeting tomorrow. Finally, Chungli 陳曉東, Jason Lin, will give his C8 speech tomorrow as well, one step closer to becoming a competent communicator.
Kate Chiu, who was the president last year and always is a role model in our club, is quite busy recently. I haven’t seen her being active on stage like ages (although only several months). We finally get to see her hosting the evaluation session tomorrow.

For the second meeting in year 2016, we have set the meeting theme as "Temper Losing" I believed that we still got fresh memory about last meeting " New Year Resolution" Jot down temper-controlling into the list as part of your resolution because temper-losing can be a disaster to one's live. To know better about the kind of situation you might lost control of your temper will benefit your relationships and career.

On 12/25(Fri.), we will have a Christmas Meeting! What's more, we are going to exchange gifts on this special day. Get ourselves ready and offer a 200 dollar gift!
The other good news is that Louis Fu, an excellent and experienced toastmasters, will deliver a great speech. The speech title is "The other side of France and the Frenchmen that you don’t know."

It was a successful TM meeting full of surprise and learning. The meeting was started from the first surprise-“temporary meeting room in 3F” because the original meeting room was occupied on Thu. However, it’s an impressive experience for all of members to join the meeting in new places, we will never forget it.
Then, we started the meeting from the Toastmaster of Evening tonight-Jason, who keep using his fascinating smile lead us through the meeting and host the whole meeting very well.
In addition, before the prepared speech session, LinLin, the variety session master tonight, warmed up the meeting with the game related educational idioms such as “While in Rome, do as the Romans do” or “kill two birds with one stone” etc.. Don’t you know what it mean? Join the meeting!!! You can learn many idioms and improve your English efficiently.
